Someone who enjoys good food. It's similar to gourmet but may have a connotation of having great quantities of food.
A Chinese dish, also called century egg or thousand-year egg, these eggs are preserved by being coated with a mixture of lime, ashes and salt then buried for 100 days. The whites of the eggs become firm, translucent, and dark amber in color, and the york becomes creamy and dark green to black in color. The flavor is pungent. Chicken eggs are usually used.
A Spanish pastry that's eaten like a donut, it's a deep-fried dough stick coated with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
An Indian condiment made with yogurt, vegetables (e.g. chopped cucumbers), spices (e.g. cumin), and herbs (e.g. mint). It's served with spicy Indian dishes as a cooling accompaniment.
